Iran to attend Oman Downstream Expo

TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – Iranian downstream knowledge-based companies active in the fields of oil and gas will take part in the 2nd Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference in March 2017

Export services corridor of knowledge-based products of Iran’s Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology will provide support for domestic companies to participate in the 2nd Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference, aimed at expanding communication between Iranian companies in Oman and gaining an appropriate share of major national projects in that country.

Iranian companies will be introduced in this event to foreign firms for executing various foreign and national projects including “refinery and petrochemical complex project in Qom; refining volume: 230,000 barrels per day, project value: $6 billion”; “gas extraction project at Oman’s Salalah Dhofar complex; capacity: 327,000 cubic meters per year to come on stream in 2019”, and “NGL project at Fahud oil camp in Oman, with a value of $3.6 billion”.

The Oman Downstream Exhibition & Conference, organized by the Omanexpo, LLC will take place from 13th March to the 15th March 2017 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Oman. The exhibition will give an opportunity to global manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers representing all of the key sectors within the refining and petrochemical industry to showcase their capacities. The Conference is a discussion and knowledge-sharing platform focusing on the market trends, developments, projects, technology and innovation in the sector.
