Some 13 countries to attend tourism ministers' conference in Tabriz

Tabriz, Aug 20, IRNA – Deputy Head of Cultural heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Morteza Rahmani Movahed said on Saturday that 13 countries have declared readiness to attend the first conference of tourism ministers titled 'Asia Cooperation Dialogue Forum' in Tabriz.

He made the remarks in a press conference to announce programs of the conference.


Movahed said that countries including Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Thailand, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Tajikistan, The Philippines, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Cambodia have declared to send representatives to the conference.


The conference will be held in Tabriz on August 29-30, 2016.


He said that applying for the conference will continue until August 27.


At the end of the first conference of ACD, Tabriz communiqué will be released.


Rahmani Movahed said one of tourism indications is growing interaction with international community possessing structures to consolidate relations between countries.


The first Asia Cooperation Dialogue Forum has 34 members. ACD headquarters is located in Kuwait City and its secretary general is from Thailand.
