Iran, Azerbaijan sign document on cyberspace cooperation
Baku, Aug 8, IRNA – Iran and Azerbaijan signed agreement on cyberspace cooperation during the current visit to Azerbaijan by President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said on Monday.
'In today's meeting held in the presence of Iranian and Azeri presidents, Iran agreed that the Azeri partner make use of Iran's experience in the area of electronic security and development of infrastructure networks,' the minister said.
Considering Iran's experience in the area of network security and fighting with malwares, Iran will cooperate with Azerbaijan on promotion of the country's infrastructure network and cyberspace security, Vaezi said.
