Iran exports some $3.1bn worth of petrochemical products in 3 months

Tehran, July 22, IRNA – Iran exported some 5.356 million tons of petrochemical products valued at $3.158 billion dollars in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year, according to Iran's National Petrochemical Company.
Tehran, July 22, IRNA – Iran exported some 5.356 million tons of petrochemical products valued at $3.158 billion dollars in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year, according to Iran's National Petrochemical Company.
Last year, some 20 million tons of petrochemical products worth $13 billion were exported to different markets.
Iran's overall petrochemical output in the three-month period stood at 13.2 million tons.
Iran has the capacity to produce 63 million tons of petrochemical products and with the completion of semi-complete projects, the country's output capacity will rise to 120 million tons.
