 Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad prov exports $5m worth of products this year

Yasuj, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad prov, Dec 26, IRNA – Five million dollar worth of products have been exported from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20), a local official said.

Deputy head of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province for Foreign Trade Eshaq Nik Nejad said that 714 tons of products including pharmaceutical plants, carpets, cosmetics and health products and licorice extract were exported to Iraq, the UAE, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, France, England, Germany, Indonesia and South Africa.

He told IRNA on Monday that some 2 million products were also exported from the customs of other provinces.

Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province has about 700 industrial units and around 800,000 tons agricultural products are manufactured annually in the province.
