Vaezi consults with Thai e-commerce minister to draft agreement

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 14, IRNA – Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi in Bangkok on Monday held talks with Thai Deputy Prime Minister Prajin Jantong on drafting agreement for cooperation on information technology.

Vaezi is currently on a visit to Bangkok to attend World Telecom 2016.

In his meeting with deputy prime minister and head of Ministry of e-commerce community, Vaezi put forward proposals to be included in draft agreement about cooperation between Iran and Thailand on information technology.

Vaezi said that post-JCPOA era serves as appropriate opportunity for cooperation with Thailand on energy, tourism, banking and trade.

Prajin Jantong said that the Thai government is keen on finalizing the agreement for signature soon.

The Thai deputy foreign minister said that Thailand prime minister will pay a visit to Iran early next year.

World Telecom 2016 Exhibition kicked off in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 14 and will work for three days.
