Chamber of Commerce: Slovenian President to visit Tehran

Tehran, Nov 19, IRNA – Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture announced here on Saturday that Slovenian President Borut Pahor will lead a 50-member trade delegation to visit Iran on November 22.

According to the report, economic activists of the two countries are to consider ways for expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Ljubljana in a joint meeting here on Tuesday.
The Joint economic meeting of Iran and Slovenia was held in Tehran in May and a number of senior officials from trade companies and banks of Slovenia exchanged views on ways to develop cooperation.
Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and American affairs Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi said at the meeting that the two countries may cooperate in the fields of energy, oil, gas, housing and construction, transportation, mine, agriculture, steel and medicine.
Ravanchi had said that Iran welcomes presence of Slovenian companies in Iran's free trade zones.
The two countries had also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on economic cooperation in Tehran in January 2016.
