French company invests in Isfahan Airport development plan

Isfahan, Nov 17, IRNA – Director General of Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport Hassan Amjadi said that French Vinci Airports Company by 120 million euro investment is to develop the airport.

Amjadi told IRNA on Thursday that following President Hassan Rouhani talks with French officials last year and after an agreement was signed in relation with investment in development plans of Mashad and Isfahan airports, a delegation from Vinci Company visited Isfahan airport.

He said that preliminary plans for development of Isfahan and Mashad airports have been prepared and added that 6-member delegation of Vinci visited Isfahan airport.

Amjadi said that the investment would be in form of BOT.

At the first stage of the plan is due a terminal with 21 to 25,000 square meters area to be built and at the second phase another terminal with 35,000 square meters, including parking lot, will be constructed.
