Iran culture minister in China for Silk Road Expo
Dunhuang, Sept 19, IRNA – Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati arrived in China Monday to attend the first Silk Road International Cultural Expo in this country.
The Iranian culture minister is visiting China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart.
Many cultural experts see the first Silk Road International Cultural Expo, that will start on September 20, as a professional gathering in the area of culture.
The two-day cultural expo will be held in the city of Dunhuang, located in northwest of China, with participation of senior cultural officials, ministers of culture and cultural experts from different Silk Road littoral countries.
The Silk Road or Silk Route is an ancient network of trade routes that were central to cultural interaction through regions of Asia connecting the West and East.
