IKCO production rises by 36 percent
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian largest car-manufacturer Iran Khodro could successfully manage to produce 57879 sets of sedans and pick-ups in the last Iranian month (July 22- August 21), which indicates the highest volume rate in the past 5 months.
Comparing to the same month previous year, the production boosted from 42449 to 57879 sets by 36%.
In the meantime, IKCO produced 244,265 sets of vehicles in the first 5 months, showing 11,000 sets increase compared to the same period last year.
Considering the local market demand, the production of Tondar 90, Peugeot 405, Arisun and Peugeot 206 has accelerated by 91, 25, 14 and 11 percent respectively.
