51 pc growth in export of steel products in 1st five months

Tehran, Sept 7, IRNA – Export of steel ingot and products in the first five months of this year (started on March 21), reached 2,310,000 tons, showing a growth of 51 percent, compared to the figure in the same period the previous year.

In the first five months of last year, 1,529,871 tons of steel were exported.

Moreover, in the Iranian month of Mordad (July 21-August 21), 243,318 tons of steel were exported, showing 33 percent fall compared to the 361,041 tons exported in the same month last year.
