Iran has routine transactions with major European banks
Tehran, Sept 4, IRNA – Deputy Minister of Petroleum for International Affairs and Trading, Amir-Hossein Zamaninia, said on Sunday that Iran has no difficulty to receive petrodollars through the Central Bank.
Zamaninia commented on ties between Iranian banks and big European banks and said major European banks have no difficulty with regular ties with Iranian banks.
He said that the European banks have grievances about the heavy penalties imposed on them by the US Department of Treasury, so they act cautiously.
He said that Iranian banks have routine transactions with the European banks.
'There is no legal impediment for ties of major European banks with Iranian banks and that any problems will soon be removed.'
