Iran exports 1.3 billion minerals in five months

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA – Iran exported more than 1.3 billion dollars minerals to China, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates in the first five months of the current Iranian year.

The Customs House gave ranking for the customers of Iranian minerals saying that 22 percent of the export worth 641.6 million dollars went to China making up for the first rank.

Iraq and the UAE by 12 and 11 percent respectively took second and third ranking.

The minerals went to Iraq worth dlrs 353.3 million and the UAE worth 308 million dollars, it said.

According to the Iran Customs House, in the first four months of the year, Iran's non-oil export worth 16.308 billion dollars, and in the same period the Iranian imports stood at 12.865 billion dollars.

In the first five months of the year, Iran's non-oil export rose up by 10.22 percent standing at 19.108 billion dollars in comparison with the same period of preceding year and the imports reached 16.709 billion dollars.
