Export of decorative plants, flowers earn Iran $45m a year
Mashhad, Razavi Khorassan Prov., Aug 23, IRNA – Head of Iran Association of Decorative Plants and Flowers Pejman Azadi said on Tuesday that some 45 million dollars worth decorative plants and flowers are exported from Iran annaully.
Azadi told the International Congress of Iran's Decorative Plants and Flowers that export of agriculture sector accounts for seven billion dollars from 18 billion dollars annual non-oil exports of Iran.
He said that horticultural products make up for three billion dollars of non-oil exports and export of decorative plants and flowers is estimated at $45 million.
