Iran exports 58 types of raw animal products
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran has exported 58 types of raw animal products to different countries since the beginning of Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016), said an Iranian Veterinary Organization official in charge of Quarantine and Biosecurity
Iran has sold 420.000 sheep, 485 calves and 316 camels to different regional countries, Masoud Mohammadian said.
Oman, Kuwait and Iraq have been Iran’s main clients. Iran is in talks with other countries to sell its products as well, he said.
Iran has also issued 212 permits for exporting 17.000 tons of frozen chicken flesh to other countries, he added.
He noted that recently Russian market for importing fish and shrimp has been open and Iran can export its products to the country.
