CEO: Renovate Oil Facilities, IOOC Priority
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Offshore Oil Company Managing Director Hamid Bovard said renovation of the company's oil facilities is seriously considered in the 6th 5ive-year development plan (2016-2021).
During a visit to petroleum facilities in southern islands of Siri and Lavan, the official said development of fields and renovation of aged facilities operated by IOOC are seriously considered under the 6th development plan.
IOOC is a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company. The company operates offshore oil fields in southern Iran.
"Bolstering operational regions, access to detailed information, and proper means for production are IOOC's major needs for carrying out its duties of developing offshore fields," he said.
He also said that the repairing and maintenance of the company's facilities is not in a favorable state and more organization is needed in the sector.
