Envoy: Armenia to help Iranian traders to enter global markets
Qazvin, Aug 18, IRNA – Armenian Ambassador to Tehran underlined that his country will pave the way for access of the Iranian businessmen and traders to the global markets.
Artashes Toumanian made the remarks in a specialized conference attended by economic activists, traders and businessmen of Qazvin province here on Wednesday.
Toumanian said that Armenia is a reliable gate for Iran to enter the markets of Georgia, Russia and Eastern Europe, and added, “The Iranian businessmen should make the optimum use of this opportunity.”
“Armenia’s membership in the Eurasia alliance has resulted in removal of tax and customs barriers,” the Armenian ambassador said.
Toumanian reiterated that his government has considered special privileges for foreign investors and manufacturers.
