Iran-Luxembourg chambers of commerce to mull joint venture investments

Tehran, Aug 3, IRNA – Director for international affairs of Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce Jeannot Erpelding said on Wednesday that Luxembourg companies are due to visit Iran to consider grounds for new joint venture investments.

Erpelding said that steel industry, car manufacturing, aerial services, engineering, aerospace, communication and information technology are the grounds for joint venture investment for the Iranian and Luxembourg companies.

He said that Luxembourg industry owners will visit Iran on October 17 for 10 days.

Meanwhile, Deputy head of international affairs of Iran's Chamber of Commerce Farhad Sharif said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to host the delegation and make arrangements for meetings in Iran.

He said that Iranian Chamber will facilitate trade and economic relations with other countries willing to cooperate with the private sector.
Sharif explained capabilities of Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO) and to develop joint venture investment with foreign partners, saying that Iranian joint venture investment with Luxembourg is at the primary stage.

He added that using Luxembourg experience in modern financial management methods would be useful for cooperation with SEO.
