Iran exports 5 mln barrels crude from oil field

According to ISNA, Iran exported 5 million barrels of crude oil from North Azadegan joint field.

The operation for producing oil from the field started 100 days ago.

Keramat Behbahani, who is director of development plan of the field, said that Iran had decided to produce 75.000 barrels of crude oil daily which has come true.

Regarding continuous talks with China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) about the second phase of developing the field, he said, the Chinese company should submit its proposal to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the negotiations are underway for this goal.

He said that the field’s crude oil reservoirs total 5.68 billion barrels.
