35,000 tons of products exported to Iraq through Mehran border

35,000 tons of products exported to Iraq through Mehran border

Ilam, July 3, IRNA – Head of Mehran Standardization Office said that 35,000 tons of standardized products have been exported to Iraq since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20).

Jafar Farhad Beigi told IRNA on Sunday that the products mostly consist of building stones, mosaic and brick. He emphasized that 242 customs tariff determination have been done in laboratories of Mehran standardization office most of which were related to building stones, calcium carbonate and iron ore. Mehran international border is located 85 km south of Ilam and is an important point of exchanges between Iran and Iraq. Source:IRNA
