Iran's copper cathode production increases by 13%

Tehran, March 2, IRNA - Iran's National Copper Company produced over 223,000 tons of copper cathode from the beginning of this current Iranian year (will March 21, 2019) to the mid-February, which grew by 13 percent compared to previous year.

 

 

The copper company produced more than 286,000 tons of anodes during the same period, which is 20 percent over the 238,000 this 11 months program this year, IRNA quoted Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) as saying on Saturday.

According to the report, total copper production of anode and cathode in February was 28,500 tons and 23,400 tons, respectively, which is 25 percent higher than the forecast in February 2018. 

The performance of the Iranian year in this sector shows that the largest production of anode and cathode has been realized since the launch of this industrial complex.
