Iran to export stones to Russia

Moscow, June 22, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Jafar Sarqini announced here that the country will export stone to Russia.

Speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of Stone Industry (ExpoStone) 2016 underway in Moscow, he said the Iranian companies have planned to export construction stones to Russia. To achieve that end, the Iranian companies have massively participated in Stone Industry exhibition, Sarqini said. He added that the Iranian experts have estimated the worth of different types of construction stones to be exported to Russia at minimum one billion dollar a year. Member countries of the Commonwealth, including Russia are Iran's target markets, the official said. The 17th international stone exhibition stared work in Moscow on June 21. It will last for four days. 257 companies from 27 different world countries including Iran have attended the event.
