NIOC considering Hungarian bid to buy crude oil

Tehran, June 21, IRNA – National Iranian Oil Company is considering Hungarian bid to buy crude oil from Iran, Director of NIOC International Affairs Department Mohsen Ghamsari said on Tuesday.

European countries that stopped oil purchase from Iran for the sanctions have filed bid to buy crude oil from Iran in the wake of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Thus far, French Total, Royal Dutch Shell, Italian Saras, Italian Iplem, Greek Helenic and Spanish Repsol started oil purchase from Iran. Hungarian companies have applied for oil purchase from Iran. Ghamsari said new model of commercial relations with the Hungarian MOL company, which is an old NIOC customer, is a priority.
