Iran, Vietnam hold trade cooperation meeting in Hanoi

The meeting took place on Monday afternoon in Hanoi and a group of Vietnamese economic activists were present.
The minister who is also head of joint Vietnam-Iran Economic Commission pointed to his recent visit to Iran and held successful meeting of the 9th joint economic commission in Tehran.
Cuong called on Vietnamese economic activists to aim the Middle East and clearly Iran for their trade exchanges through collective work and foresightedness.
He explained potential fields for cooperation between Iran and Vietnam in the fields of agriculture, oil derivatives, minerals and construction materials, and called on Vietnamese businessmen to update their information on the Iranian market.
Saleh Adibi, for his part, appreciated efforts of Cuong for successfully holding the 9th joint economic commission meeting and his efforts to hold meeting with economic activists in relation to Iran.
He expressed Iranian embassy's full readiness to increase trade ties between the two countries up to the ceiling of $2 billion upon an agreement between the two presidents.
The ambassador also presented a report on recent months' efforts to establish practical and effective cooperation between chamber of commerce of Iran and Vietnam, banking brokership and elimination of some obstacles in the way of mutual trade cooperation.
