Description :

Yogurt is the most consumed dairy product in Iran. This product is obtained from the fermentation of milk sugar (lactose). The special bacteria for making yogurt converts lactose into lactic acid and gives yogurt a jelly-like texture.

Yogurt is high in carbohydrates, omega and fiber, which has more protein than milk. Yogurt also contains B vitamins, zinc, calcium and phosphorus.
