Description
:
The biological indicator is known by most experts as a monitor of the sterilization process. This is because they evaluate the sterilization process directly using the most resistant microorganisms. The RRS steam biological indicator consists of a plastic tube containing Geobacillus stearothermophilus (ATCC 7953) spores inoculated on a carrier. The tube also has a glass capsule containing a special purple culture medium to support the growth of spores. The performance of biological indicator steam 105 (14-21110) is in accordance with ISO 11138.
