Fara-Flex
>>Description: Fara-Flex is an elastic, white liquid based on modified co-polymeric styrene acrylics. It is an agent for sealing most of surfaces such as stone, brick, gypsum, etc. Fara-Flex covers surfaces by an invisible and elastic layer. >>Standards: Technical specifications of Fara-Flex can be evaluated by following standards: ASTM D4541 ASTM C1250 ASTM C1375 >>Consumption: 1- Sealing of mosaic roofs 2- Sealing of stone roofs 3- Sealing of rain barrier wall 4- Sealing of commissure between stones, mosaics, etc. >>Application • The surfaces should be completely clean, free of dust, loose particles, grease, oil, and primers from previous membrane systems or bitumen. • Bitumen or primers should be removed by shot blasting or mechanical means. • Damaged areas and holes should be repaired by a repairing mortar such as RCI. • There should be made a suitable slab in conjunction of walls to floor and walls to walls. • Using Fiber Tape in slabs is suggested. • Saturate the concrete’s surface with clean water. • Apply Fara Flex while the surface is still damp but there is no free standing water. • It is better to apply Fara Flex by using a Roller, T, short stiff bristle brush or spray it. • Leave the first coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the second coat. • Surfaces should not be exposed to water pressure or rain till 24h. Note: Do not apply Fara Flex in temperature under 4oC or upper than 25o C. >>Physical and Chemical Specifications: Physical status of part A: liquid • Physical status : White liquid • Density: 10 ± 0.02 kg/L • Pot life: 2 h (25o C) • Drying time: 48 h • Tensile strength: 20 kg/cm2 • Chlorine: No chlorine • Consumption: 100-200 g/m2 >>Packaging: Gallon: 5, 10, 20 kg >>Maintenance: Keep out of moisture in cool and dry place (10-30o C) >>Safety: This substance is not in the danger area, but when working with all chemicals it is better to use gloves and safety equipment. In case of contact with skin, eyes and / or penetration into the mouth immediately wash with water.
