Trichoderma harzianum is a ubiquitous fungus that colonizes plant roots and improves plant growth and health in a symbiotic relationship. Different isolates of this fungus are currently used as efficient bio-fertilizer and bio-fungicide to improve plant growth and protect the plants against a wide range of soil-borne fungal diseases. Several formulations of Trichoderma have been commercially developed for biological control of plant soil-borne pathogens. Trichorun p is an efficient bio-fungicide that is produced as powder (Trichorun P) formulations and can be used to protect field and greenhouse crops as well as fruit and ornamental trees against a wide range of soil-borne fungal diseases.
