Zist Randeman Knowledge-based Company has started its activity in 2015 in Khorasan Agricultural and Natural Resources Development Center and under the supervision of Khorasan Razavi Science and Technology Park, and it has passed various stages of development in this center; in 2018, it succeeded in obtaining technology license for the Biovital product. In 2019 and after completing the legal procedures and by the Office of the Vice President for Science and Technology, this company was officially recorded in the list of knowledge-based companies of that Office. The directors of the company consist of faculty members of Khorasan Razavi Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center and also, Vali-e-Asr University of Rafsanjan and its staff list includes a group of the graduates of the top universities of the country with specialties related to plant pathology and biological control.

The main objective of the company is to produce and supply compounds that can manage important plant diseases that are not easily controlled through the use of chemical pesticides. The basis of these compounds is the microorganisms, isolated from Iranian agricultural soils and identified and their antagonistic potentials have been evaluated in the long term.

The consumption of these compounds in agricultural and horticultural fields will decrease the consumption of pesticides, promote environmental health and enrich the microbial population of agricultural soils in the country.
