Nahal Pistachio Agricultural Company of Rafsanjan was founded in 1980 with the aims of producing, processing, and distributing the best quality types of Iranian pistachio, in Rafsanjan city. Rafsanjan is a dependent city of Kerman Province. All area around this and particularly Rafsanjan have been known as the birthplace of various best types of pistachios in the world. Meanwhile, the largest artificial pistachio forest in the world, which have ever made by man is situated around this city. A very unique situation of Rafsanjan, in the border of Lout desert, caused an exceptional climate for this place to be capable to grow up and produce some sorts of incomparable pistachio whole over the world. These distinctions are in many parameters and from the different points of view such as shapes and types, flavor, and most important distinctive parameter means, property. This is the main reason that Rafsanjan is well known as the main production location for the best pistachio types in the world.
